Terms and Conditions

Plan Term: Our plan coverage begins 10 days after the sign-up date and extends for a duration of 1 year. Upon the completion of the 12-month period, the plan transitions to a month-to-month basis, allowing flexibility in service continuation and payments.

Plan Renewal: Unless we receive a cancellation notice prior to the 1-year mark, the plan will automatically renew from the effective date.

Coverage Eligibility: Our plan covers residential homes and single-dwelling units. Please note that commercial or industrial locations are excluded. Additionally, modular homes are not eligible for coverage. Each household is limited to one piece of equipment, such as one furnace or one water heater.

Cancellation Policy: A 10-day cancellation window is provided from the sign-up date, during which you can cancel your plan and receive a full refund. 

One Trade’s protection plans require a commitment of one year, ensuring continuous coverage and peace of mind. Upon the completion of the 12-month period, the plan transitions to a month-to-month basis, allowing flexibility in service continuation and payments. However, if you choose to cancel before the end of the initial commitment period, you will be responsible for paying the remaining months on your contract.

Please be aware that we reserve the right to cancel your plan at any time.

Relocation: If you are moving, you have the option to transfer your plan to your new residence or cancel it altogether.

Payment Methods: We offer convenient pre-authorized payment options, including telephone banking and online banking. Applicable taxes, such as HST, will be added to the payment.
